While researching SFMOMA art picks, an opportunity to capture the Norway-based architects Snøhetta re-designed galleries [see photo] and recap the museum’s history. “….. founded in 1935 as the first West Coast museum devoted to modern and contemporary art, ….. the San Francisco Museum of Art….[was located in]…. the War Memorial Veterans Building…..[and 40 years later]….
